Margaret Charlwood - REPs Exceptional Achievement Award 2008
It is with great pleasure that EMDP are able to share with you some wonderful national recognition for a teacher from one of it's founder organisations, Earlier this year Margaret Charlwood from Medau Society was announced as REP’s Exceptional Achievement Award winner 2008.
Medau has many wonderful teachers, but they have been very fortunate to have one exceptional teacher who, after taking classes for every section of the community for over 40 years, has won the Register of Exercise Professionals Exceptional Achievement Award. Margaret Charlwood is not only a gifted teacher but a talented trainer and amazing choreographer. All this despite being told she may not walk after a car accident at age 11 and two hip replacements in later life!
She continues to be an inspiration to all, teaching 13 classes each week, as well as training new teachers, assisting in the development of the teacher training course and producing and co-producing fantastic display items. Everyone is extremely proud of her and grateful that she has given so much time and energy to teaching and promoting Medau.
