Exercise Movement & Dance Partnership customers are most satisfied
Results released on the 12th June show that Exercise Movement and Dance Partnership (EMDP) participants are in the top spot for their overall satisfaction, with a score of 89.3%. Sport England recently conducted a survey to measure the quality of experience for regular participants in over 40 sports and EMDP affiliated members proved to be the most satisfied with their experience. These results will help shape the future of sport/activity as they will support improved planning and investment decisions.
The survey is divided in to domains which represent different conceptual areas relating to satisfaction with the quality of the sporting experience. It focuses on the overall service that the participant receives from their national governing body, which includes everything from staff to value for money and from fitness benefit to performance development.
These results are an indication that EMDP teachers offer an all round exercise experience that is at the top of its game. It has been evident for a long time that once people try the organisation’s activities; they stay for a very long time, some for 60 years or more. The results fit in perfectly with EMDP’s mission:
‘More people enjoying good health and well-being through exercise, movement and dance – for life’
Daran Bennett, Chief Executive of EMDP said today ‘What fantastic results these are, we have always believed the level of service our teachers provide is second to none, now we have the results to support our theory.’ He continues ‘the quality of our teachers is testament to the comprehensive training programme they are given along with the network of support the teachers receive once they are qualified. But, above all, it is down to the individuals that the EMPD attract and the commitment and passion they have for teaching.
